Motorsports Technology I provides a foundation in the principles of racing car fabrication and all facets of the racing industry. Technical aspects of the course include skill development in vehicle assembly using specialty tools and welding. Students explore the motor sports technology industry and identify careers in the field.

Motorsports Technology II further develops students’ skills in racing car fabrication as they explore the motor sports technology industry. Students gain experience in chassis preparation, vehicle assembly and engine assembly and disassembly. Additional focus areas include racing protocol and regulatory compliance in the motor sports field.
