Virginia course title: Diesel Equipment Technology I, Diesel Equipment Technology II.

Students prepare to apply technical knowledge and skills in the field of maintenance and overhaul of equipment. This includes instruction in inspection, maintenance, and repair of tracks, wheels, brakes, operating controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical/electronics circuit,y and engines. These courses are based on the Automotive Service Excellence task list. Work ethics and productivity are an integral part of the classroom and lab activities of these courses.

Students can be certified in:

  • Diesel Engines.

  • Electrical/Electronic Systems.

  • Suspension and Steering.
